2011 Local Government Elections
The Fezile Dabi District Municipality has 32 seats. Twelve of these are directly elected with a further 20 representatives from the four local municipalities that constitute the District Municipality. Following the 2011 local government elections, three political parties are represented in the District Municipality, namely the African National Congress, the Democratic Alliance and the Congress of the People.
